PSDE Manifesto for Orihuela Costa

Published : 04/12/2006 Edition No.: 138 OF LEADER)

Magali Baetslé was featured in the ‘Leader’ recently and is representing the Democratic Socialist Party (PSDE) for Orihuela Costa in the upcoming municipal elections.
She has now presented the party’s plans to resolve the problems caused by, “the neglect of the government of Orihuela Costa,” and says they are “tired of paying tax money without receiving any services for it (security, schools, medical centres etc.)”
The party is already represented by three councillors in opposition on Orihuela Council and believe the only way to resolve these problems, “is by changing the government who have been the Partido Popular for 18 years.”

Their program for the coast is as follows:

1.-Extension of the local police to obtain more security.
2.-Cleaner streets and collection of dustbins and other rubbish.
3.-Construction of public schools.Extension and maintenance of green areas.
4.-Better public transport.Completion of the Residential Home for the elderly.
5.-Construction of sport facilities and a library.
6.-Recruiting an interpreter for the town hall and local police.
7.-More facilities for the civic and social centre.
8.-Better and well maintained streets.

Their e-mail address psde2007@hotmail.com is open for your comments and complaints you want resolved, and they are “glad to help” with any difficulties experienced in registering to vote.
